Wison New Energies exhibited at Gastech 2026, held at BITEC, Bangkok, from September 14 to 17 (booth F50). From FLNG and the floating power data center (FPDC) to floating green ammonia, from new partnerships and technical talks to new concepts and approvals, the show took our floating energy work another step forward.
New partnerships
- Wison Group and KBR signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore long-term cooperation in engineering design, consulting services and integrated project solutions.
- Wison New Energies signed strategic cooperation agreements with Bumi Armada and FPSO Ventures, to work together on FLNG lease and operate (L&O) solutions.
- Wison New Energies and Shell marked their DMR liquefaction technology collaboration at the show, to speed up the deployment of next-generation FLNG solutions.
New approvals
- Wison New Energies' Ammonia FSRU received Approval in Principle (AiP) from the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).
- Wison New Energies' Low-Emission FLNG received DNV's first FLNG ABATE Notation FEED Approval worldwide.
New technology
Tech Talks covered Smart FLNG, the floating power data center (FPDC) and floating green ammonia. On the stand, models of the 6.0 MTPA Deepwater FLNG, the FPDC and a DMR liquefaction module turned complex technical solutions into something visitors could see up close.
