Low-emission standardized FPSO solutions showcased at ROG.e 2026, Rio de Janeiro.

From September 21 to 24, 2026, Wison New Energies took part in ROG.e 2026 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, showcasing its low-emission FPSO designs and standardized solutions, and meeting industry partners on offshore oil and gas development, low-carbon technologies and the energy transition.

South America, and Brazil in particular, is a key region for deepwater oil and gas development and FPSO deployment. Building on recent progress in its FPSO business, Wison's debut at this major regional energy event was an opportunity to strengthen local partnerships and explore wider international opportunities.

Paul Tan, FPSO Strategy Director at Wison New Energies, joined a technical forum on Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS), Direct Air Carbon Capture and Storage (DACCS) and Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS). He noted that while carbon capture plays an important role in addressing climate change, deep decarbonization also requires better energy efficiency and wider use of renewable energy to reduce emissions at source.

On the stand, Wison presented its low-emission FPSO model and its portfolio of standardized FPSO solutions for offshore developments of different sizes. Standardized design, modular construction and digital technologies continue to raise execution efficiency and operating performance across the FPSO lifecycle.

Wison will build on the show to work more closely with clients and partners, bringing its low-emission FPSO and standardized solutions, backed by integrated EPCIC and O&M capabilities, to more offshore markets.
